Downstairs apartment with Private Floating Terrace

Ground floor apartment – This cozy apartment offers a private floating terrace with lounge set, direct canal access for swimming or paddle boarding, and views towards Amsterdam’s city center. Inside you’ll find a bedroom with shower, a small pantry with induction hob, coffee & tea, and a foldable dining table, with kingsize bed. Free Wi-Fi, streaming TV via your phone, bed linen and towels are included. Please note: access is via stairways, so this apartment is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

• The apartment has a private floating terrace with lounge set, where you can relax, swim, or paddle board. Please use the terrace responsibly and at your own risk.

• The kitchen is a small pantry with induction hob, coffee & tea facilities, and basic equipment – suitable for light cooking, not for extensive meals.

• Our garden is shared with other guests and us as hosts. You may also meet our friendly cat Indy and Labradoodle Nala.

• Pets are welcome upon request/approval.

• Smoking is not allowed indoors and not on the private terrace, but it is permitted in the outside kitchen or in the garden.

• A €500 fine applies if smoking rules are violated indoors.

• Bed linen and towels are included, and beds are freshly made upon arrival.

From Amster Houseboat it’s easy to reach the city:

• Schiphol Airport is about 25 minutes by car or 40 minutes by public transport.

Our houseboat is located in vibrant Amsterdam North, set on one of the city’s quieter canals – the perfect balance between peaceful nature and lively urban life. After a busy day (or night) in the city, you’ll come home to a unique floating stay surrounded by greenery: on one side a relaxing park, on the other the charm of life on and by the water. From the deck you can enjoy stunning views across the canal straight into the city center.

Within walking distance you’ll find a supermarket and all daily essentials. Just around the corner lies the trendy NDSM area, a former shipyard transformed into one of Amsterdam’s creative hotspots. Here you’ll discover countless restaurants, cozy cafés, an artisan bakery, a wine & cheese boutique, cultural festivals, and even the famous STRAAT Graffiti Museum. From NDSM you can hop on the free ferry that takes you directly to Amsterdam Central Station in minutes.
